Pigmenta Franchise owners and Technicians have attended an extensive training course at the Pigmenta headquarters in Boston. Members of the Pigmenta team will go to each clinic for on-site training, as well as an in-person training at the franchise locations. The franchisee and their team will undergo sales training and individual practice sessions to ensure the clinic’s success.

Jonanne Saraf Massard has trained as a professional figure skater and coach. Her mom told her she had her on ice skates as soon as she could walk. She remembers going to ponds with her family and friends as a young girl, gliding around for hours. This yearning lead to group lessons at the Boston Figure Skating Club. Then private lessons throughout greater Boston. Moving through skating tests and competitions she turned professional and started touring the country with Ice Capades. She fell in love with the glamorous side of professional shows and exhibitions. Once finished with Ice Capades she was asked to perform in a small holiday skating show in Aruba.
She was enamored by the glamorous lifestyle on stage and soon found herself modeling. In front of the camera working with fashion and makeup …
She landed a full-page ad in the Boston Globe and was typically featured around the globe for Marshall’s and Jordan Marsh.
Wanting to learn more about this industry she enrolled in Chamberlayne Jr. College for marketing and fashion. She completed an apprenticeship program with Neiman Marcus and continued to work there after graduating. This was a Junior college from which she graduated in 2 years and continued to explore fashion and the marketing side of this industry.
Throughout these years she continued to coach skating to a small number of clients. She recognized she needed to continue her education and enrolled in the University of Massachusetts, Boston Campus. Here she studied Literature and Business and graduated with her BA after 3 yrs.
Her passion for modeling and fashion lead her to Pigmenta. She was interested in permanent makeup to help her create a distinctive look for her brows. Her history with Pigmenta goes back to 2013. She came into Julia’s Newbury Street location, with overly plucked brows that she penciled in to give the appearance of a full brow. She’s not looked back since that first meeting with Julia. What started as a business friendship eventually led to her buying a Pigmenta franchise. With her business background and keen sense of fashion and makeup, she’s looking forward to a long career as the new owner of Pigmenta of Hyannis.

Ana has been in the makeup industry for 10 years and decided permanent makeup was the next step in her career. And it became her biggest passion. She has been studying the hand method technique carefully for the past year under Julia with Pigmenta.
Ana is one of those people born with a natural skill set geared towards being creative. Ana is blessed with a natural charisma and elegance. She ensures her clients achieve their desired look and feel comfortable with the whole permanent makeup experience. Having had her brows microbladed previously, she understands how clients feel, so her easy, fun and relaxed demeanor is quick to create a calm environment.
Ana looks forward in to providing a variety of permanent makeup services and to enhance the clients natural beauty at the Pigmenta Hyannis, MA location.
